Xiaohua Zhong is Associate Professor of Sociology at Tongji University, visiting scholar at Graduate Center of City University of New York. Her research focuses on urban regeneration, community governance, heritage conservation. She has publication on Shanghai Lilong regeneration and post-disaster reconstruction in western China. She is currently conducting research projects on neighborhood social planning and community-based regeneration in global context. She received her Ph.D. in sociology from Fudan University.
