Liu Qi, Associate Researcher at School of Civil Engineering, Tongji University. She is also a Member of the Hydrogeological Committee of the Chinese Geological Society and the Fifth Youth Working Committee, a Member of the Karst Investigation and Foundation Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, a Member of the Chinese American Water Resources Association, and a Member of IAEG.
Dr. Liu works in the research and teaching of hydrogeology, engineering and environmental geology, especially for the systematic research of water-rock interaction and engineering effects, geological environment and disasters in karst areas. She presided over a number of the National Natural Science Foundation projects, Special topics of The National Key Research and Development Program of China and The Key Project of the National Science & Technology Program in the 12th Five-Year Plan of China. More than 50 papers have been published in important academic journals at home and abroad.
