Short Resume:

José Carlos Redondo Olmedilla is a professor at the University of Almería, PhD in Anglo-Germanic Philology and PhD in Arts and Humanities ( Spanish Language and Culture). He is currently the main researcher of the research group of the English Language: Applied Linguistics and Literary Studies group (HUM859). As a researcher his production has focused on comparative and cultural studies and he has collaborated in Anglophone and Hispanic journals of international scope. His latest studies analyse the creative tendencies in the culture and new literatures in the Hispanic and English-based fields. He specializes in the analysis of cultural flows and their relationship with recent postcolonial and decolonial literatures as well as new transnational context. He is a member of the Network of Experts in Cultural and Natural Heritage in the Campus of International Excellence CEI Patrimonio (Heritage). This Network of Experts in Cultural and Natural Heritage was created in 2009 within the Campus of International Excellence PatrimoniUN10 of the ten public universities of Andalusia ( Spain). Its main function is to advise, as an advisory body to the Steering Committee, especially in national and international projects for the implementation of activities related to research, development, innovation and transfer in the field of Heritage.
