Short Resume:

Alberto Martorell-Carreño holds a Doctorate Degree in Cultural Rights (UNED), a Master Degree in Economy and Management of Cultural Heritage (Catania’s Scuola Superiore University), an Master Degree in Protected Natural Areas (UAM). He coordinates the Master Program in Built Heritage Management and Cnservation in the National University of Engineering of Peru. He teaches at the Master Programs of the UNMSM, URP and in the Program on Sustainable Tourism of UARM. He is founder and promoter of the Superior School Factor Cultura, a project to capacitate cultural and cultural heritage workers in Peru.
He is Past-President of ICOMOS Peruvian Committee and also served as Vice-President of ICLAFI-ICOMOS for two periods in each position. He is author of seven specialized books and a number of articles in different academic publications in many countries. He is member of the Advisory Committees of the Scientific Journals De-Venir (University of Engineering), Patrimonio y turismo (USMP) and Diferents, revista de museus (University Jaume I). He is a peer-rewiever for the Journal of Cultural Heritage Management and Sustainable Development.
