APCEIU and UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP), in partnership with the GCED Youth Network, are co-hosting the 12th Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED under the theme “Translating Peace into Action: Leveraging Media and the Arts."  The workshop seeks to empower young leaders around the world to drive meaningful change in their communities by critically and meaningfully engaging with the world and exploring how youth can contribute to advancing peace through creative and impactful advocacy. 


Workshop Details:

  Date: 8–12 June 2026 (main workshop, in-person) / 12-14 May 2026 (pre-workshop, online)
  Place: Seoul, South Korea 
  Participants: 40 young leaders from ODA recipient countries (please check the concept note for full eligibility criteria)
  All costs - including accommodations, meals, local transportation, and round-trip international airfare to and from Seoul, South Korea - will be covered for selected participants.
