ICCROM recently released a collection of case studies on Leveraging Cultural Heritage Conservation for Inclusive Growth with Communities in Southeast Asia. This work aims to strengthen the understanding of how cultural heritage supports more equitable, place-based, and community-valued forms of development. The seven case studies collected from Myanmar, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia demonstrate experiences in promoting participation, enhancing local capacities, and empowering communities. They also emphasize that inclusive growth has no preset model; rather, it is a process rooted in local realities.
