Mauricio Jhonatan Clavijo del Carpio is a Bolivian researcher and PhD candidate at Kyushu University's Faculty of Human-Environmental Studies. His research combines urban studies and philosophy to explore memory, heritage, coloniality, and the built environment. His current work focuses on urban heritage governance in Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines. Drawing on ontology and decolonial philosophy, he develops philosophical approaches to space, heritage, and collective memory.
