Short Resume:

Khalsa khalifa al Salmi, working as a world heritage sites head section at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in Oman, is responsible for all listed heritage sites in Oman. I am supervising and preserving development projects in these archaeological sites. I supervise and follow up on all restoration and excavation work conducted on all these sites. Moreover, I have contact with many International archaeological missions in excavating, restoring, and rehabilitating UNESCO World Heritage sites. I am a focal point for some of these sites in the World Heritage Centre. In addition, I attend workshops and seminars on UNESCO and World Heritage sites or the Arab Regional Center for World Heritage.
I have an experience in paper writing and publishing. My study for a master's degree was associated with sustainable architecture. Moreover, my master's thesis was about the social sustainability of heritage and traditional settlements in Oman. I published many papers related to my study and work including:
• a paper "EXPLORING THE INFLUENCES OF URBAN FORM ON SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY ASPECTS CASE STUDY OF: HARAT QASRA & FALAJ ASH SHURAHOMAN" in the ICUP2022 Conference
• an academic paper (Oman Heritage policy and its application in the built Heritage protection) at an international conference (The Omani Heritage Architecture and its sustainability
