Short Resume:

Divyansh Kumar Sinha is an archaeologist with academic and professional experiences gained in different regions of India. His academic degree revolves around archaeology and ancient history with specialization in Prehistory and Rock Art studies. Along with these he has also worked related to tangible and intangible cultural heritage, fort and fortification, ancient water management systems and traditions.

Since 2023, he has actively been involved in the project of National importance titled ‘Digital Documentation, Scientific Investigation and Conservation of Petroglyphs of Konkan’. This project serves as a part of data collection and interpretation of the rock art sites identified in the region of Konkan, some of which has currently been added in the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Site.

He is an active member of numerous National and International academic and scientific committees such as INTACH, ICOMOS, CIPA Heritage Documentation, CAA (Computer Applications in Archaeology), SOSAA (Society of South Asian Archaeology), RASI (Rock Art Society of India), IAS (The Indian Archaeological Society) and few more.

He has regularly been involved in the promotion of archaeology and heritage among the public by presenting his research work in numerous National and International conferences and through awareness activities.
