Ms. Wang Huimin specializes in architectural heritage conservation and urban planning. She holds a Master Degree in Architectural Conservation from the National University of Singapore, where her thesis " Rethinking Heritage Narratives in Joo Chiat" explored digital strategies to revitalize cultural nodes and collective memory. In 2024, she attended UNESCO’s Asia-Pacific Training Workshop on Ancient Building Conservation, studying techniques in historic urban planning and timber structure restoration, while participating in fieldwork at Chaozhou’s Kaiyuan Temple and other heritage sites. From 2016–2018, as a leader in the Franco-Chinese Heritage Volunteer Camp (selected by the Ruan Yisan Foundation), she coordinated teams in restoring Pingyao’s UNESCO-listed city walls and the Feng Clan Manor in Guizhou. Her research, including the paper "Feasibility of Volunteer Camps in Vernacular Architectural Conservation", advocates community-involved preservation models.
