Ruibo Yang’s work sits at the intersection of traditional craft, digital media, and ethnographic research. Her primary focus is on Yi embroidery and silverwork in Southwest China, with an emphasis on how embodied craft practices are sustained, adapted, and reinterpreted in contemporary cultural contexts. Her approach integrates fieldwork, material-based making, and digital technologies such as 3D modeling and animation to explore themes of memory, identity, and cultural resilience.
