Abdullahi Isa Adamu is a Nigerian architectural scholar and PhD Candidate at the Institute of Human Settlement and Civil Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. He holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from Beijing Forestry University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria. His research lies at the intersection of Traditional Architecture, Cultural Heritage Conservation, Environmental Resilience, and Climate-Adaptation related topics, he explores integration of interdisciplinary methods to investigate how traditional architectural knowledge can inform contemporary responses to environmental and climatic challenges. Abdullahi has contributed to a wide spectrum of international research on heritage protection, landscape sustainability, and nature-based solutions. He has authored and co-authored numerous academic publications covering themes such as traditional ecological knowledge, critical regionalism, biophilic design, and ecological conservation planning. His recent works include contributions to the ICOMOS Scientific Symposium, IFLA World Congress, and the International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD), among others.
