Salar Sanjari is a Master's student in Architectural Conservation at Shahid Beheshti University, Iran. His academic and professional interests focus on architectural heritage conservation, documentation of historic buildings, and the study of historic urban fabrics. He is particularly engaged with research-based conservation approaches and the role of community participation in safeguarding cultural heritage.
In 2025, he worked as a researcher and restoration specialist for three months at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Trans-Iranian Railway, where he was involved in documentation and conservation-related activities aimed at maintaining the site's historical integrity. He also undertook fieldwork and architectural documentation at the Alamut National Heritage Site.
In parallel with his academic work, he has led several voluntary and grassroots initiatives in architectural conservation and heritage advocacy. He served for six years as the secretary of a student scientific association, organizing seminars and workshops on conservation-related topics. He also hosts a podcast dedicated to architectural conservation, addressing contemporary challenges, practices, and narratives in the field.
