Beverly Macayan-Bautista,MA is a cultural heritage professional with extensive experience in heritage conservation and management, heritage interpretation, cultural mapping, and community-engaged heritage planning. She currently serves as Acting Director of the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School – Center for Conservation of Cultural Property and Environment in the Tropics (USTGS-CCCPET), where she leads and coordinates national and international heritage initiatives, capacity-building programs, research collaborations, and conservation planning efforts.

In addition to her leadership at USTGS-CCCPET, Ms. Macayan-Bautista serves as International Coordinator for the Asia-Pacific Higher Education Network for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage (APHEN-ICH), helping advance the network’s mission to strengthen heritage education and safeguarding across the region.

She has led and supported diverse projects on heritage impact assessment, conservation management planning, museum and exhibit development, and community-based cultural heritage documentation. Her work emphasizes meaningful, inclusive, and locally grounded approaches to interpreting and utilizing both tangible and intangible cultural heritage, aligning academic research with community aspirations and sustainable development goals.
