On November 2, 2001, the 31st session of the UNESCO General Conference adopted the UNESCO Convention for the Protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage. 22 years later, the International Council on Monuments and Sites emphasized this opportunity and interviewed Christopher Underwood, Chairman of the International Commission on Monuments and Sites (ICUCH).
