The UNESCO WHIPIC World Heritage Interpretation and Exhibition Forum will be held in Seoul on November 15th, with the theme of mobilizing broader social forces to participate in world heritage protection. The forum will invite representatives from ICCROM, ICOMOS Korea, as well as academia, governments, heritage site managers, and communities from Italy, India, Australia, and Zimbabwe to participate, stimulate creativity, broaden horizons, and exchange experiences in heritage interpretation and display with different stakeholders, promoting capacity building.

 

Topics include:
——The necessity of incorporating a wider range of stakeholders into the world heritage system;
——Efforts and challenges to encourage local, national, and international participation;

——New priority work, breaking barriers, and enhancing capabilities.
