Short Resume:

Jarunee obtained a Master of Arts in Cultural Management (International Program) from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. She has been managing Siamese Heritage Trust (SHT) of The Siam Society Under Royal Patronage since 2010. Her major responsibility is promoting better management of Thailand's cultural heritage through educational programs, domestic and international networking, and advocacy programs. Currently, she is focusing on a project of "Chiangmai's Heritage Protection and Transmission", and forming a digital alliance of Southeast Asian civil society organisations for cultural heritage. Previous projects under her responsibilities includes series of community forums, panel discussions, international seminars on various topics related to heritage protection, study trips programmes to visit the cultural heritage sites demonstrating best practices in conservation and adaptive reuse of heritage building in Thailand and abroad, advocacy campaigns to oppose inappropriate development projects, drafting Cultural Resource Management Bill, Co-writer of a handbook Heritage Lawyer: Law for Cultural Heritage Protection (Thai verson), launched in July 2017.
