Ms Yau has more than a decade of experience in heritage regeneration, management, and education. She is an accredited heritage conservationist (ICOMOS, HKICON) and Project Management Professional (PMI) and partner of the non-profit organization Contemplate Culture Community. Her cultural heritage management experience covers urban and rural, architectural and living heritage conservation, heritage entrepreneurship, as well as teaching and training in the Asia Pacific region and internationally. In 2021, she was selected as one of the instructors of Living Heritage and Sustainable Development MOOC by UNESCO Paris.
