Short Resume:

Ms. Asif is an architect and a preservationist with an interest for regional and sustainable design.
She is graduate of University of Pennsylvania as a Fulbright Scholar with a Master of Science in Historic Preservation. At UPenn, she worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Frank Matero, and a Research Fellow at the Center for Architectural Conservation. She has worked with the Aga Khan Foundation in Pakistan to preserve UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Lahore Fort. Ms. Asif is currently working as a Lecturer at School of Art, Design and Architecture at National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad. Her research interests include traditional and regional architecture, that is responsible, cost-effective and its application in the contemporary design practice. Ms. Asif is passionate about conserving and reviving the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan.
