Prof. Sok Yee Yeo is a Singaporean who is currently a Professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Architecture, School of Human Settlement & Civil Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. Prof. Yeo has been actively engaged in the research on traditional architecture and cultural heritage in Singapore, Japan and China, mainly in the areas of heritage conservation science for more than two decades. She has led and participated in more than 20 research projects at home and abroad, such as the research and conservation of the Singapore national monuments - Lian Shan Shuang Lin Monastery and several conservation projects of in Shanxi province of China. ICOMOS International Wood Committee (IIWC) Expert Member and recipient for the "Outstanding Paper Award for Young Scholars" at the 2017 International Conference on the History of East Asian Architecture, to-date, Prof. Yeo has published more than 30 academic papers, three books /book chapters, such as the "WHITRAP-Suzhou Readers Technology for Conservation of Cultural Heritage -Volume 1: Lime for Conservation of Cultural Heritage”and Singapore URA-ICOMOS Conservation Technical Handbook series: Volume 4 – Structure".
