Hao Shuang was graduated from Bartlett School, University College London in 2018 with a Master of Science degree in sustainable heritage, and has been working in World Cultural Heritage Center of China, China Academy of Cultural Heritage since graduation. He has participated in different types of programs concerning World Cultural Heritage and World Heritage Tentative List properties, including World Heritage nomination, conservation and management planning, designing of monitoring systems, as well as heritage impact assessments. These programs covered a number of cultural heritage properties such as Classical Gardens of Suzhou, Mount Wutai, Maritime Silk Roads of China, Ancient Waterfront Towns in Jiangnan Area, and The Archaeological Site of Sanxingdui. Hao Shuang has also been concentrating on researches regarding disaster risk management of cultural heritage, and has participated in the National Key Research and Development Project ‘Natural Disaster Risk Assessment and Emergency Response on Immovable Cultural Heritage’ since 2020.
