The motivation behind my curiosity to deepen knowledge in Heritage Preservation was informed by my field trip to Konohana Family Ecovillage in the foothills of Mount Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture as part of my graduate study program in Sustainability Studies with special interest in Rural Sustainability through Tourism 2019. I have since been keeping abreast with intellectually-stimulating conversations around the theme to date .
