Suramya Bansal is an anthropologist and archaeologist with academic and professional experiences in India, South Africa and Australia. His expertise revolves around intangible cultures in northern India, rock art in southern Africa, native title in northern Australia, world heritage across Indian Ocean and cultural diplomacy across Global South. As a Salzburg Global Fellow, he participated in Young Cultural Innovators Forum (2020-2021) and Emerging Urban Leaders Forum (2022-2023).
