Mauricio Jhonatan Clavijo del Carpio obtained his bachelors degree in architecture and urbanism (B. Arch-Urb) (Honors) in 2020 at Universidad del Valle, Sucre, Bolivia. He also had an exchange with Mexico National University UNAM in 2018. He worked in Bolivia as an architect focusing in restoration projects and conducting research about heritage In 2022 he obtained the MEXT Scholarship to proceed his studies at Kyushu University, Japan, obtaining the Master of Arts (MA) in Urban Design from Human Environments Faculty. His research is focused on architectural and urban heritage studies, historical cities, and contemporary architecture in historical environments.
