Short Resume:

Born in the family of historians and antiquarians fuelled her interest in the field of heritage, culture and tourism from the very beginning. Making it the focal point, she made her career in it. She is working as Asst. professor in Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Gwalior. She authored a book titled ‘Cultural and Heritage Resources of India’.
She is serving/associated/attached to INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage), an NGO working towards preservation and conservation of Tangible and Intangible heritage and historical monuments, as a Governing Council Member since 2009. She is the president of WICCI (Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce Industry) Rural Tourism Council of Madhya Pradesh.
Her working profile and her interest let/led her to work in many prestigious projects of Government of India like development of Raghurajpur as the first UNESCO Heritage Tourism Village of India, development of Buddhist Tourist Train “MAHAPARINIRVANA”, coordinating the course content development of IITFC (Incredible India Tourist Facilitator) Heritage Advance Course. She is the Nodal Officer for the Central Nodal Agency – Rural Tourism and Rural Homestay, for Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. She is also the co-founder to ‘KALAKRITI CREATIONS’, nationwide artist guild working for preserving and safeguarding the vanishing and dying art forms of India.
Her work got her the recognition on local and national level both. She got JCI Outstanding Young Personality Award in 2021, also she is a three times LIMCA book of Record holder 2008, 2010, 2012 for her collection of Polybags.
