I am a 21-year-old from Chaozhou, Guangdong Province, China. I founded and currently lead EAC (Runaway Art Collective), a cultural heritage promotion organization uniting 50 young enthusiasts worldwide who are passionate about Chaozhou’s culture. Since 2022, we’ve organized over 50 youth-friendly events, reaching and impacting more than 100,000 young people.

In partnership with heritage bearers, we offer workshops, sharing sessions, guided tours, and creative markets to actively promote and preserve Chaozhou culture, including its music, dance, and opera. This year, we’ve expanded our focus to the She ethnic group, a minority originating from Chaozhou, to continue promoting the sustainable development of intangible cultural heritage in ways that resonate with youth.
