Strong background in commercial construction and conservation project delivery combined with archaeological expertise in the built environment. Mitch is responsible for coordinating historic archaeological projects and advising on issues for major clients – he is particularly interested in the training and procurement of talented heritage contractors. In 2019 he became a George Alexander Fellow through the International Specialised Skills Institute, undertaking research on successful building conservation training processes. Mitch is passionate about developing a strong capacity in 3D modelling methods for archaeology, making use of LiDAR and photogrammetry as emergent forms of heritage management.
