Short Resume:

Alain Marinos is Architect and Urban Planner, Honnorary General Inspector of French Ministry of Culture. He has qualification in architecture, heritage, urban planning and public policy and has worked in public practice for the French Ministers in charge of urban planning, environnement and culture. To day he is Independant speaker, National Delegate of the Association “Petites cités de caractère de France” and Honorary President of the National Association of the « Architectes des bâtiments de France » (ANABF) .

He wrote many articles and gave conferences about the Value of Cultural Heritage for sustainable management.
He is Consultant Professor at Shanghai Tongji University (China), Honorary Professor at UNIBTI University Sofia, Bulgaria, Temporary teacher at the University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, at the School of Chaillot (City of Architecture and Heritage - Paris), at the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées - Paris Tech and at the National School of Architecture -ENSA- Paris La Villette.
He is also Academic consultant of the editorial board of the magazine "BUILT HERITAGE" and "Ambassador" of "MegacitiesShortdocs", member of the film selection jury. He was UNESCO Expert for the action “Historic Districts for All: A Social and Human Approach for Sustainable revitalization” and participate to many International cooperations, aspecialy in China in partenership with Tongji university and the “Observatoire de l’architecture de la Chine contemporaine” of the “Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine - Paris. He did also missions in Bulgaria, Austria, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Italy, India, Indonesia, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia, Vietnam.
He was Director of the School of Chaillot (City of Architecture and Heritage - Paris)
and worked as an Architect and urban planner of the State and « Architecte des bâtiments de France » in the Ministry in charge of Urban planing and in the Ministry of Culture (In the french department of Finistère and Loire-Atlantique).
