Dr. Peng Luo is a professor (Ecology) in Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been actively worked natural resource management and biodiversity conservation for over 35 years. Most of his researches were focused on conservation ecology, impacts of human interference and climate change on mountain ecosystems, cultural and biodiversity interfaces. He has been nominated in many expert/ consultation committee (board) in the field of nature conservation both at national and provincial levels, including the expert committee for China world heritage conservation, and the provincial expert committee for world heritage conservation in Sichuan.
