Short Resume:

Mrs Vijaya Amujure is an architect with B Arch degree and Masters in science in historic building conservation from the University of Bath (UK) and has an experience of about 20 years in the field of conservation in India and in the UK. She is the conservation architect responsible for restoration of about 50 historic monuments in Delhi as well as for the preparation of conservation and management plan for the President’s Estate. She is a recipient of the prestigious UNESCO Asia Pacific Award 2017 (Honorable mention) for the conservation of Gohad Fort in Madhya Pradesh, a project by the World Monuments Fund and Government of Madhya Pradesh. Currently, she is the Director Programme with the Architectural Heritage Division of INTACH (Indian national Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) New Delhi.
