Short Resume:

David Logan, Partner of GML Heritage, has qualifications in architecture, urban planning and heritage conservation and more than 35 years’ experience in heritage management in both the public and private sectors. David has led heritage teams on a wide range of CBD development and urban renewal projects across Australia. He is a former member of the NSW Heritage Council and was chair of its Approvals and Policy Committees. He currently serves on the Heritage Council's Technical Committee, the Parramatta Design Excellence Advisory Panel and three local government council Planning Panels: North Sydney, Strathfield and Hunters Hill.
Overseas work has included World Heritage monitoring, missions and advice for ICOMOS, UNESCO and the World Heritage Committee, and teaching and workshop facilitation for the Getty Conservation Institute. David is a Vice-President and Expert member of the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Historic Towns and Villages (CIVVIH). He helped to establish an Asia-Pacific Subcommittee of CIVVIH which promotes the HUL approach to address heritage conservation issues facing historic cities, urban areas, towns and villages in the region.
